your role

Take advantage of the opportunities offered over the next 5 weeks to explore God’s call on Christ Community Church, to affirm the plans to build a new facility, and to ask God what He wants us as individuals and families to consider giving to this project.  (See Calendar of Events.)

Be in prayer for Christ Community Church, our leaders, our ministries, and our decisions that we will remain faithful to God’s plans for our future.

Ask questions of the church staff and leaders about the plans for Christ Community Church, about the capital campaign, and about the building as they arise.

Come prepared to our commitment celebration and worship at 9:00 AM on February 18th by praying through the below steps:

1)  Prayerfully ask God to place an amount on your heart to give to the CCC Building Project.  Pray individually first and then as a couple if married.

2)  Next, ask yourself as an individual what amount you desire to give and what amount you believe God could provide for you to give.

3)  Finally, assume for a few days you were to give the amount of money you’ve arrived at and ask yourself:

Am I joyous about giving this amount?

Is my gift sacrificial?

Am I demonstrating an expression of faith?

Am I convinced I can give this amount with a motivation of worshiping God?

If you answered “Yes” to all four of these questions, then you can feel comfortable about your gift amount.  If married couples reach different amounts, repeat the process to see if there is an agreement the second time.  If not, choose the lower amount as your gift.

See the Over and Above page for practical ideas on how to fulfill your pledge.

Rejoice in the goodness of our Lord in providing us a firm foundation, ministering to us with His Word and His love, and providing us a glorious hope in Him for our future.
